If you are a good manager then you must be a good follower of the proper procedure and or the Standard operating Procedure SOP, not a violator one.

Basically SOP,s are prepared for a neet and clean operation it means that the transactions should be errorless, these standards provide us guideline to manage the correct operation with in the bank. Without learning the SOP a proper operational activity with in the institution could not be played, so SOP  are must to understand the nature of work.

Manager should play his role in a good way in order  to acheive the goal .He/she must be leading employees practically rather than theoritically .SOP  is set to create workercarry out a routine operations for the purpose of  achieving effeciency,quality output and uniformity of performance 

Manager function should based on leading by example (i.e leading by practical not by theory). All the characteristics of manager should be well ironed in order to christen his role in the operating procedures not acting like a boss that won't mind the subordinate itching leg that can lead to goal unachieved.
