I have included various keywords in my resume as per my profile. But when I check the "CV Keywords" listed by Bayt, then those keywords (captured by Bayt's system) are very much different from my job profile. Infact there few keywords which I have not even mentioned anywhere in my resume, then how come Bayt is showing them as my relevant keywords? I had sent an email/feedback to Bayt, but they replied that I should edit my resume so as to include those keywords (maybe Bayt customer care didn't even read my email and just gave that standard reply) Would be grateful if anyone can help me on this. Thanks.
Yes this seems to be a common occurrence with CV keywords.
I have concluded that a generic (frequent used words for different professions) system being used and unfortunately this is quite rigid in terms of the words used from original CVs to those on the Bayt database system.
Ten people could do the same job but, of course, each will interpret the 'key' words of their roles differently. Unfortunately, it appears the Bayt database or criteria for which words are used could be limiting the wide scope of knowledge/experience potential job candidates could inform a potential employer that they have.
The result, this puts us all into selected 'boxes' (keywords that fit the Bayt CV keyword criteria). Hopefully, this is a work in progress and gaps in service will be be improved upon to benefit both the job candidate and employer, because at the moment the limited criteria could mean both miss out on opportunities.
Same here... Sometimes there is a problem with applying on some job ads saying " my cv doesn`t match required qualification"
