Buying well-known brands warrants quality & safety of products in the majority of cases. There is no substitute to quality. Apart from product quality and useablity there is another pshycological factor which is  brand association that you are buying a product which is well known to others and It will give you a feeling your are in the bandwagon of consumer who would be using due to its well known status.

But if its a customer, he/she would come back for the quality and believe that the brand will not fail them.
