When applying for a job, is the ad copy being in text a factor of why the wrong people apply for a role they are not suitable for?

I have created the world's first ever HTML graphical advert to combat this and engage candidates on a visual journey taking in the text as they scan through it. Its SEO searchable, responsive and gives the candidate all the information they need in limited text and from a client prospective you can really get your brand ethos across. Copy and paste the link to view it http://bit.ly/1gMuiN What are your thoughts?

The comments are with the assumption that the ad copy is flawless.

If that is so, the ad copy specifies job specification and the role.

Ita a fact that many people respond, fully knowing that they donot meet the criteria with a hope of being short listed due to additional / special skills.

If the screening is automated & based on logic, such hopes have no silver lining.

The ad copy has very little to do with the applicants, as stats show that many of the applicants don't even read the job description properly.

As an active job-seeker, I think that there are three categories as to which jobs people apply for:

1. The jobs they are well-qualified for.

2. The job profiles closely-related to their qualifications.

3. In the moment of hopelessness: whatever they can find.

A job-seeker is more than willing to get into the industry at any cost.

Today's market is more competitive than ever before.

Also, we have technology in our hands, so it is easier for a lot of people to apply for multiple jobs at the same time.
