3. Confidence in own designation to actually deliver such a speech (authority/respect/knowledge/qualification)
4. Understanding of objective & audience
5. Good preparation & rehearsal
6. Proper articulation & intonation
7. Compelling language skills (whether an own speech writer or only the speaker)
8. Good body language & eye-contact
9. Humor and/or attention grabbing phrases
10. Well-timed pauses/breaks
