dear doaa

too bad u cant make a drawing from2d to3d basic CAD stander even if u tried to put the coordinate Z

the2d coordinate and drawing are done on a plane sheet with the stander of Z=0 and will always Z=0 because of your first selection that was2D

but is you have choose the3D sheet automaticly the Z coordinate will be active then u can do a drawing in2D and after u can add path or Z cordinate to have a3D module

the same in Isometric in CAD

Convert2d figure into closed curve or region.

Then use the command "Extrude" to convert from2D to3D

Converting drawing from2D to3D requires some modification of the objects themself. Because in the previous format they only have2D coordinates compare to3D. So we need to determine the z coordinate.

Usually, in technical drawing like structural, mechanical and electrical detail drawing, this z coordinate is recorded in ID annotation, for example in piping annotation, cable raceway annotation etc. Unfortunately, in some schematic drawings, the x,y, and z coordinate is not recorded. So it needs a further study of the design to produce3D drawings.

actually the most professional way is using autocad architecture, because this command can convert full building within seconds , first import ur2d drawing to autocad architectur :

Use this procedure to convert any of the following objects to walls:

Lines

Arcs

Circles

Polylines

For example, you can create line diagrams or sketches of walls using lines, arcs, circles, and polylines to create the building exterior and rooms, and convert these objects to walls. You can edit the wall properties after creating the wall.

You can also convert3D objects, such as mass elements into walls.

To Convert a Line into a Wall

Right-click a wall tool, and click Apply Tool Properties toLinework.

Select the line to convert, and press ENTER.

When prompted to erase the original geometry, press ENTER to retain the linework, or enter y (Yes) to erase it.

Edit the properties of the new walls in the Properties palette, if necessary.

To Convert an Arc into a Wall

Right-click a wall tool, and click Apply Tool Properties toLinework.

Select the arc to convert, and press ENTER.

When prompted to erase the original geometry, press ENTER to retain the linework, or enter y (Yes) to erase it.

Edit the properties of the new walls in the Properties palette, if necessary.

To Convert a Circle into a Wall

Right-click a wall tool, and click Apply Tool Properties toLinework.

Select the circle to convert, and press ENTER.

When prompted to erase the original geometry, press ENTER to retain the linework, or enter y (Yes) to erase it.

Edit the properties of the new walls in the Properties palette, if necessary.

To Convert a Polyline into a Wall

Right-click a wall tool, and click Apply Tool Properties toLinework.

Select the polyline to convert, and press ENTER.

When prompted to erase the original geometry, press ENTER to retain the linework, or enter y (Yes) to erase it.

Edit the properties of the new walls in the Properties palette, if necessary.

To Convert a3D Object into a Wall

Convert a3D object, such as a mass element or an AutoCAD ACIS solid, into a single-component wall.

Select the object you want to convert to a wall.

Click Mass Element tabConvert To panelWall   .

Enter y (Yes) to erase the original object, or enter n (No) to retain the object.

Specify the baseline of the wall:
