Supply chains, irrespective of industry, have similar basics. To ensure a smooth supply chain, one needs to have a strong forecast, dependable suppliers with acceptable lead times and reliable operational processes. The KPIs for all of the functions are more or less same and need to be fine tuned in accordance with industry.
