HI Guys lots of people claim that marketing is sales so please let's share our views about Marketing&sales definitions to prove that it's wrong?

In fact they have the same goal and this goal is sell the ( Prouduct or Service ) but The importance of Marketing is : How to sell the P/S  for the customer before he buy it mean how to make the customer need this P/S to meets his needs

But the Importance of Sales is : how to make the customer want to buy this ( P/S ) not how to sell it for them. As we know in (H.R) people love to BUY but don't like to SOLD HIM..
