I agree with Ahmed, Oral work followed or backed up by written exercises. Funnily enough before a lesson I like to write out a draft of what I'm going to say, before I say it! I don't use it as a crib sheet as such, but I find that writing things down first puts them into my memory bank and allows me to engage brain before opening my mouth!!!
