Still Adobe Photoshop gives you a lot of options and techniques of how to remove the background from photos.. you can use refine edge, pentool, quick selection tool, channels and etc.. :-)
As many have stated Adobe Photoshop could get the job done. The easiest method would be to use the Background Eraser tool located in the eraser sub menu.
On the tool options bar at the top of the screen choose a round, hard brush. The size of the brush will vary depending on the image you’re working on.Again, on the tool options bar, set the Sampling to Continuous, the limits to Find Edges and the Tolerance to a low number of about2520%. A low tolerance limits erasure to areas that are very similar to the sampled color. A high tolerance erases a broader range of colors.Bring the pointer near to the edge of the person or object that you want to remove the background from. You will see a circle with small crosshairs in the center.

I think you're not familiar with photoshop so of course you won't be able to erase a background using it. Try http://clippingmagic.com/ ... it's an online easy to use tool. it's a tricky at first but i found it's so easy. choose a file and click the Help button in the top right corner to see what to do.
