Your opinion about the " Land Pooling" to be utilized in urban planning for developing infrastructure facilities and to reconstruct old city areas.

Land pooling is the best tool to redevelop old city areas and provide sufficient infrastructure facilities. But in the country like India, strong land owner opposition for forcible land acquisition has left only few  option to develop well planned and service urban land  for the government. Government should introduce land pooling policy for the old city area. 

The most important advantage of the Land Pooling Technique is that100% rehabilitation is assured to all affected parties( land owners, tenants etc.). Then why should the land owners object ? The idea must be well understood by the stake holders.
