Personally I like to learn by reading articles and research from academic databases and then read from books. The internet part is usefull when it comes to seeing others experiance or views of the topic.
Books are obviously great, but the Internet has helped us get information and listen/understand the perception of more than one. For instance, An educational youtube video would have creative and amazinlgly interesting comments about the study which would help the student further understand the study or look at it from a different P.O.V.
Websites like khanacademy have gained huge (huge!) fame, why? because it showed results! The internet has figured out ways to creatively educate students in a fun and different manner which always lacked in the tradational methods.
Personally, I think if you are studying something you enjoy, you would always prefer to use the internet because of its nature of providing endless knowledge. The fact that there is always more to watch/read on the topic would be a gold treasure to you.
Mostly from internt , but not from one source
