What is your opinion regarding hiring or working with family members or close friends? is this a good idea why or why not ?

My personal opinion don’t mix the socials, friends and work into one place, work place only to work hard it’s your career, after office hours you can hang with friends and enjoy the rest your day.

i think in my case it is a very good idea working with someone you know well and there would be some advantages like no communication gap, sharing of thoughts etc. but it might not prove out to be a good idea in some cases.

Depends on the character of people.. But I think its good to have friends and relatives at one place for a good work culture.

In general, I do not think it's a good idea because in every situation,  there will always be the "sentiment factor" that will separate this specific person from all the other employees in the office. We are all humans after all and you surely going to be affected from the bonding between a friend or a family member. 

Depends on the nature of the person, you are willing to hire.

ACTUALLY IT'S GOOD AND NOT GOOD THAT IS UP TO YOU IF YOU WILL HANDLE IT GOOD BECAUSE THE CLOSE FRIENDS AND YOUR FAMILY NOT LOOK LIKE OTHERS TO YOU.

it depend on the person and the work

Everything depends on your mindset. I you work with someone in your family and a situation arises were you have to fire them... you'll have a guilty feeling in firing and they'll have a sad feeling that you fired them... But as i said everything depends on your mindset and understanding. 

Professionally "it is not whom you know, its what they know." if family or friends will be in same organization subjective decision will always be an issue. Ideas will not be for all but for some. Am not against this but hire somebody who can get your business up no matter who is he or she. Why will you invest on something or someone that you know the trend. Get something or someone that you will improve or develop. Risk is there but decision will always be fair.
