The internet is a hierarchical structure consisting of tiers such as Tier1,2, and3. It begins from the root (Tier1) which is a giant ISP with hight-speed piplelines that span a global area or national-wide area. Tier1 ISP is connected to a child ISP (Tier2) that spans a regional area and it is often called regional ISPs. Regional ISPs are connected to a child ISP (Tier3) that spans local geographic area and often called local ISPs. Finally, local ISPs are the ones that we (the subscribers) get the internet subscription from.
So, the stronger point is the Tier1 ISP. This is the main source from which the internet flows to the rest of child ISPs.
That’s really a big discussion. When we talk about internet, there are lots of segments involved and each one of them is very important. Even CPE (Customer-premises equipment) plays a major role in it. What about if you have a good ISP but a bad circuit between your office and them?
Session layer is5th layer in OSI model of computer networking. Simplest definition is: session layer provides the mechanism for opening, closing and managing a session between end-user application processes.
Internet :
1- Connectivity
- for Home use: you can go for ADSL, and Yes ISP is importnant factor, and last mile connectivity to your Home i.e. telephone wiring the better cabling better connectivity
-for work use: Leased line is the best (excluding small businees can be ADSl as home) it is dedicated connection to your office, not shared bandwidth as ADSL.
2- Workstation : where you browse internet from, so we talking about hardware resources and operating system used
Session layer is the5th layer in the OSI model, which controls the sessions between the multiple cmputers(hosts),it tracks the dailogs between the computers.this layer controls and maintains the local and remote applications.
