3) communication open, what is required, what small mistakes need to be discontinued WITHOUT DRAWING ATTENTION TO ANYONE SPECIFIC.
4) set daily achievable tasks, and no one goes home until the task is achieved
I can identify my boss's boss. I always support my boss in achieving and overachieving his/her performance measures.
Off-course I can, My boss is the reflector of his boss as far I concern. In simple, what My boss always insists and expects from all of us is exploring the possibility to stand on what is committed. so, Committments as committed on time is what is appraised and appreciated by all our bosses..
Visualisation of expected performance under various bosses is one of the primary duties before plunging into day today marketing/sales agenda. For this, scheduling should be roughly mapped while we are busy with morning chores itself. As soon as mapping is done, same thing can be written / typed in our mobile /ipad/diary, while we are on way to office in our car.
This primary point would help the Marketing / Sales executive to brief our boss the proposed schedule before he reminds. This not only would save time for boss and he could plan accordingly his schedules including admin related duties, if any, and brief his boss his proposed agenda for that day.
The time saving device for the boss like the aforementioned plan should be the "in thing" for the executive. This is only tip of the ice berg. This sort of plannings would be appreciated by the boss or boss's boss or any other higher authority and this would also make the boss / bosses to feel the importance of his immediate subordinates/executive. In customer service parlance, it is called - getting smileage from our boss.
At the end of the day, success depends upon our attitude, alertness, taking into confidence our Teammembers, broader(helping) heart, et al.
