Since I graduated recently, everywhere I try to apply they seem to need experience. How am I supposed to gain experience? This is probably a very main stream question by fresh graduates but I was just hoping to get some insight. You all must have been through this right?
Best way to gain work experience is Internship. Many companies offer Internship to fresh graduates.

This activity really helps you to get lot of job openings in which company requires fresher graduate …& one thing never wish to start with the best one…Opportunity is opportunity so doesn’t matter company is small or paying less .

apply for internship paid or unpaid or might as well start volunteer post until you get a job. This way you can gain knowledge and you will be able to determine if it is the right field for you.

While Choosing your internship place, Choose wisely. Read and gain knowledge about the place where you are planning to go for internship. Connect with people who already took an internship there and ask about their experience. because your internship should add a value to your resume. As a fresher you don't have any other experience except for your internship. So utilize that option genuinely and wisely. And try going for long duration internships rather than 4 weeks or 8 weeks. Because the real work begins after the 8th week!
Try not to wait for your graduation, start when you are still a college student in leadership roles in your school's activities and clubs, apply as a volunteer or part time in summer clubs, after graduation you can start as a teacher assistant in a nearby school, avoid applying at high standards schools at the beginning till you can build your self-confidence and teaching experience in small schools.

I had started my carrer with marketing and customer service. It is tough to survive but if you do you gain valuable experiance more valuable than a degree.
