How would you, as a teacher, help a child with literacy and reading difficulties?

It may be necessary, in consultation with the parents, to recommend some "extra curricular" study possibly with a speech and language therapist. I would suggest this course of action as the best option to allow the student to get the "specialist" help they need without causing any embarrasement to them or disruption to the classroom.

Well , there are many models of this kind in our schools that are stuffed with students.Teachers should specialize one hour two or three days a week to deal with these models.They are teachable, but they need a little effort to get better .Perhaps they can read and write through a certain activity or motivating them to be better.Teachers must start from a low level and students should notice the words in sentences or letters in words.
