Often it is said that management analyst jobs will grow faster between2015 and2020. I wonder what is the gap between this silver lining and ground reality. As a matter of fact a lot of executives still prefer their old way of analysis when it comes to making important business decisions.
In that case I beleive educating the executives is far more improtant than applying BI tools.
Making them come out of theor comfort zones is the key to sucessful implementation and execution of BI.

There is a plethora of evidence to indicate that both of these trends are growing, although conventional wisdom posits that the more popular one will eventually cancel out the other.
There are two inherent problems with BI

Difficult for the existing users(As they are in theor comfort zones)
Unless we come at cross roads with the above two ,it is difficult for BI to thrive.
I have seen top excutives relying more on their own excel spreadsheets than on BI tools.
In normal BIA is a person who provides the full knowledge of information (by storing and processing the large amount of data - SWOT analysis) to the decision makers on how to stand and improve the company's or an organization's competitive position.
On analysing the gap between the silver lining and ground reality is less awareness to acquire knowledge or resistance for changes as far as management terms concerned.
So to over come the barriers, effective communication is so vital thru to make them aware, educate or train and get the feed back to acheive.
Practical approach is the company itself to feed managers or fielders or employees thru investing some considerable investment and apply the BI. .
A business intelligence (BI analyst) is a professional role where the individual is responsible for analyzing data that is used by a business or organization. Data used in BI generally supports decision-making. The BI analyst works with this kind of data to maximize its utility.
As the cost of acquiring, storing and managing data continues to fall, companies are finding it practical to apply BI and analytics in a far wider range of situations.
