The are major differences from2 facets, the first is that the objectives and motivations of buying. Whereas, the second is process of reaching the final decision. For the motivations, single consumers, when the need arises there would be some sort of involvement that ranges from low to high involvement depending on the type of product and risk attaching to it and that's to satisfy specific need. while organizations make buying desicion based on  very complex process where many people and departments participate in the buying decision to maximize profits and to reduce costs. The final outcomes for an invidual customer, if they are not satisfied, they would never go for retrial. organizations, in case of failure, the losses are incurred.

As far as the process concerns, the single consumer starts with a need that, in core, is emotional. Organizations have mainly financial aspects from searching through purchasing Dep. till the final decision is made.
