In many countries the word "free", when used in marketing, has a legal definition.  For example, in some places a "free" product by mail order may still carry a charge for the actual cost of postage, but not packaging.

It is not playing with the mindset of the consumer as we all know consumer is aware of the marketing strategy. It is business and purely business. Either we can run a business or open a charity for the consumers, If we want to run the business we have to be indispensable otherwise if charity then there is no need of business.

When we talk about ethical business it means what we are giving back to the society. As a business we earn but do we spend or share or have programs or anything on underprivileged in the continent where we as a business in direct contact with them. It is ethical when we give back to the society.
