What would you prefer ? A good pay scale or a senior position in a reputable company?

Some positions seem to be very attractive and big salaries as well . Without my expertise no body is going to offer me any of both . So I would prefer the post which suits my qualifications and my professional plans and expectations .

A Senior position in a reputable company, as if that company is reputable then they must be following industry standards which includes timely increments and other necessary fringe benefits. These thing would add numbers in my salary after some time, but there's no alternate of working with a good professional compnay on a strong position where we can learn more than we earn. :)

In reality, it variees with a person's life cycle stage, like  his family, background, no. of person he/she is looking after, current situations, and age.

For me a senior position is a better choice.

A bit of both, though might sound diplomatic, are important parts of a persons career. I would assume that reputable companies would pay good salaries  in any case as people are the biggest assests of a company and they are the one who bring repute and business to the organisation. If underpaid, the organisation would suffer from high attrition and loose business.

Its a cycle which I feel reputable companies already have mastered.

It will differ from person to person. To me position is more important than money.

I will prefer Senior Position, by which I will learn lots of new things and good experience.

Offcourse my target would be attain "Senior Position" in any organization for which I am planning to upgrade my education, consequently, salary will be appropriately.

i think good  position in reputable  company means a lot and it can give you more chances
