I agree it both a protective and constructive asspect. in my personal point of view, i think this helps track records of the company expenses and if the are audited proper spenditures are determined and planed for the future.

If I am about to crash the car, as per some of my experiences I would need presence of mind and think fast. I need to regain control of the car, as there are a lot of possible ways to do it. Doing that you'll be protecting yourself, your passengers, the car and the other motorist your sharing on the same road. Getting back in control on a crashing car is not an easy task, but I believed that is the best way to protect the majority.
