In my experience the toughest part was reaching the final conclusion and esp with those candidates who are close to match our profile(technically) but on the personality side I was not sure. Personality plays a vital role in making this decision and some time we came across potential candidates where I had a bit doubt on recommending them to next stage or not. We could validate the candidate technical skills via concern heads and validation test but due to missing of sound psychometric or psycho analysis testing we deploy our assessment and personality analysis skills to judge their candidacy. So far this issue I faced in past but on regular basis.
