What I want and what I thought may not be necessarily correct. So I will try to understand the option in conversation with my Boss. Still if i feel the option is unwanted, then I will request for an opportunity to vent my sincere feeling about the option.
It bring us back to wether there is a trust between you and your manager, sometimes you do not see the whole picture, there should be an open dialoge to discuss the advantages/disadvantages of this option and then comes then comes the decision.
I would put my thoughts politely to him and will call for debate if required and let him decide what is good and what is bad for the company. There is no point in confrontation let your points get recorded and registered in MOM.
In your job description there is nothing about advising or accepting or expressing not accepting if a new product/decision will work or not. It is the responisibility of the Line Managers or Top Management. They will bear the responsibility and not you. If you are asked, say your opinion. And do not work for proving that their decision was wrong and you were right. Do not work on that
You may state your point to your boss but he hass the final decision so one of2 situations may occur:
1. you state your point and your boss changes his mind: this is the best solution for you as you will do the action that you think is correct
2. you state your point but your boss does not change his mind: is this scenario you do as you are told (or you quit you job...)
clarify your openion oral or reported after that do with the elements
I will give options with succesful examples that had use the same criterian and was hit.
Will take the whole responsibility and explain P&L
The manager may have a wide image about the subject and strategies.
The fruit of the organization skeleton is to make a distinct authorities and responsibilities for the best role playing of the work tasks:
The employees should follow their job description and obey the work instruction.
