if you are targeting teens and looking to have more insights from them, online will be the best tool to use and it will give a room for them to write down and answer your questions.
if you are looking for a product survey and direct insights so print and in the place of the product use (like shopping mall, super markets,...) will be the best for you

I will chose Online only because everyone is having the internet connection now. And also online is the only way were one can express his views at any where at any time and its the most preferrable method by all.
Online..bcoz maximum peoples are on internet... this is easy way to response nd on no cost and struggle..

Psychologically it is offering correctly the principle of freedom of response.
I will try to write down a short and clear answer. I will choose "Online", Why? Because many people actually not attracted with something not important for them, example; many people when recieved a message titled as advertisement he will discarded or delete it immediately. But, what type of surveys desired?. The users of internet increased year by year, and where is the people there is the business. so, the best way will be "Online" regardless how to do it or how to display it to the customers or intended people.
Regarding the targeted people or types of customers, you can't forcing any one to answer you if he not interested to do that with you. So, where you can present your questions, surveys,.., to as much as you can to many people, then you will get a higher opportunity of results (feedback), and the internet is the best place for larger targets.
I would say other. Due to the fact we are overloaded of standard ads etc., non-standard forms of marketing and communication (ambient media, guerilla marketing) with high level of creativity could create high interaction with customers
