be honest and direct, knowing your areas of strengths and weaknesses by itself is a credit
The truth lives for ever. By uncovering weaknesses you show that you know what your problems are and how you are working to improve them. By not exposing weaknesses, you either don't know them or you are not handling them and that is a negative indicator.
Talk to the interviewer with confidence
1. Response to the interviewer with confidence, honest and trust.
2. Always positive.
3. Do not avoid any hidden question, if they want to know.
Give an honest answer. Don't bullshit the interviewer with weaknesses like "I don't leave work until it is finished" or "I am perfectionist". That not only shows you don't know thyself, it shows you are a liar and a manipulator ;)
Be kowing about what they are looking for and what qualifications you have to meet thier requirments.
It is really a tricky question and you should answer carefully.
If you select your strenth, this question the interviewer wants to find out if your strengths align with the company's needs, or you can do the job and perform like a rock star or you are the best person for the job and you have the qualiites, skills and experiences for the job.
Answer:
One of my greatest strenth is my strong work ethic. When I commit to a deadline, I do whatever it takes to deliver.
I have the ability to see a situation from different perspectives and I can get my work done even in the face of difficult obstacles. I also feel that my communication skills are top notch. I feel just as comfortable presenting to senior executives as I do mediating a conflict between team members.
If you slect weakness, your answer should be relatively mionor and fixable, something you can improve through work and motivation.
Never answer : I am too much of a perfectionist / I work too much sometimes / I care too much about my work.
Interviewers trying to get past your nice, presentable interview facade and get a sense of what you really want to work with the good, the bad and the ugly.
Answer: I get nervous when speaking in front of larger groups or meetings.
