50's are mostly the age of managerial level work if you have10 to15 years of experience in a particular field.
If you are good at your field and had done jobs in multiple organizations then for sure you can get one.
Good Luck!

As I am looking for a job in the area and I am at the age of46, I believe that we all deserve a second chance in life and the people must be open minded because you might get pleasently surprised, if you trust an option that isn't so obvious from the beginning. The person who is willing to start all over again and change his/her life by moving to another country and experience new situations in life, isn't it true that he/she is brave? To start again needs great determination so that is already a great characteristic for an employee and I believe that everything from that point on would be more easier.  After all in life we should take risks.

No,I don't think so .

It is possible in C level positions ( CEO , CIO ,CMO ,CFO etc ) . In other case , a young and brand new generation with3 languages and master of sciences degrees is ready to be preferred .

It is not an easy task to get a job at this age in the Gulf. Never lose hopes being you are a bi-lingual and well experienced with some network in the region, you may get a good job.

All the best to all are syrian brother and sisters living in distressful condition.

Many workers over50 find it hard to get a good paying job.
There are opertunities for older workers however to start again, get a nest egg for retirement, have an adventure and make good money in overseas employment.
Most of these jobs are on a US Government Contract.
Some of these jobs require little experience.
Older healthy employees make up the bulk of these employees, there is no age discrimination with these companies, in fact they like older employees for their maturity and stability
