    Fat embolism is the passage of bone marrow fat to the vascular system.It occurs in over% of fractures of the long bones.As such fat embolism has no treatment, it should prevent fat embolism syndrome develops through appropriate inmoviliyacion fractures, intravenous fluids and external support with oxygen mask.In fat embolism syndrome, an inflammatory response is generated in the presence of fat in the capillaries a vey management should be introduced in intermediate or intensive care, maneuvers should be performed especially respiratory life support, to control the inflammatory response . It has a high mortality rate.
