The global economic crisis has put immense pressures on job seekers. Some job seekers remain jobless for long periods of time to the point where they can not take it in anymore. Other job seekers who want to change employers, improve their salaries, or for whatever reason face unprecedented challenges and a lot of fierce competition. Job seeking seems endless to them. Job seekers have to write impeccable CVs, upload videos, stand head and shoulders above the competition, research the companies, know about interviewing, etc. There is a lot of strain on job seekers. Yet, the advice I came across says: do not beg or grovel to be employed. You have a value. When you value yourself, the employer will value you more. What do you say?
Someone should always value himself and have confidence in his capabilities but you don't know for sure that you receive appreciation. You don't really know what type of person the employer is seeking, above and beyond the standard qualifications. Therefore, you can't help it otherwise but try to make the best presentation of yourself and you'll hope that you are the personality that fits the job. I mean, the only thing you can control is yourself, so if you are a fan of yourself, you must state this belief, and hopefully things will turn out nice.
Hanna a job is a "two way" thing, you want a position and an employer wants to fill a position, therefore in that respect you are on equal terms the employer wants you just as much as you want the job. However I use the term "you" as it could be you or it could easily be someone else who has applied. When there is more than one suitable candidate for a position it all comes down to how well individuals "sell" themselves, how the interviewer sees them and what impressions they get from the interview and the candidate's CV. Selection should be purely on merit and suitability for the job, there should not be any cause at all to grovel or beg and I would suggest that if you thought that was expected of you, then you should walk away as a matter or self respect.
YES IDEALY ITS TRUE,,, it is always handy that your experties must be patronised in the market and you should not go after the jobs ,,instead job search you,, but what if you leave your market for other country than you have to search.
