In the future service would be the key word. Banks would not cut their margin by increasing the interest rates but would rather provide enhanced service.  The comptition would be in the custoemer service sector. The bank that would hold on to the largest customer base would survive.

Banking is a white collar job, most of the learning is there in banking sector i.e to estabblish relationship with new clients means development of personal relations for the sake of bank in which you are working.

Banking operations would become more convenient as the competition grows.
All banks would want to become the first in choice for its customer so it would try to innovate newer technologies and newer ways for bank operations.
This would also change the nature of work within the bank, where employee will have to face a very dynamic environment with lots of changes taking place within a shorter period of time.
Hence, in the future the bank operations will change for the better.
However, due to too many changes within a shorter period of time, the banks may face threat of losing customer information as the security levels would need some time to address these threats and develop a screen of protection.
It would be difficult to keep up with the developments.
