Why do "generalist" questions generate more answers than "specialist" questions?

Is it because it's "easier"? Or because it's "safer"?

It’s because, specialist asks difficult questions which are harder to answer thats why most of the visitors leave without giving the answer. On contrary, generalist asks easy to understand questions which can be answered by almost everyone with good common sense or fine analytical skills.

My personal opinion is that "specialist" questions have interest only for the people in the specific profession and frankly for the rest are a little bit boring!  As for the "generalist" are more interesting because they have the element of everyday life, of situations we face during our careers, with our friends and in general things that we interest a lot of people. So, these are more exciting!
