Be careful that you don't end up spending more time on project management than on actually doing! Creating stuff is more important than managing stuff into neatly defined projects.

Plan well, execute well, adjust well and focus on what matters at each stage of the project without losing sight on quality delivery and the end date! Projects can be great fun or irritating depending on the approach.

Make sure everyone on the team understands very well the goals set, is focused and enjoying work.
When team members feel involved and happy they will do the best they can and the results will be excellent ;)

Definitely Planning! The more time you take when planning the better results you get! Don't forget to also have Plan B's! Expecting worse case scenarios in your projects is a must! Good luck!

Focus! Plan, organize, execute, control and evaluate CONSTANTLY.
This is a repeating circle of activities, not  only a phase in the project that occurs once.

"Getting Things Done" This is the key.
And this can be done through many factors.
in my working environment i set simple factor to achieve my goals
1- Set Due Dates (Most Important check Parkinson’s Law )
2- Be Clear
3- Communication between team members
4- Stand up meeting
5- Smart Delegation 6-Worker must know if they are really at risk , or they doing good job, pressure lead only to crisis.
Finally you have to know each working environment and each member has its own treatments , and put in your consideration people factor "they are not machines "

Agility, by far.
While planning and scheduling are important; they are standard things that are always undertaken.
Getting the stakeholders on the same page, and agreeing on the scope, schedule and overall budget sets the parameters for the plan.
But what would eventually stand out is the ability of the project manager to handle changes, when they occur.
And they are bound to occur.
Hence, the PM has to be agile and provide alternate and incremental/ iterative plans as the need arises.
The eventual success of a project would be in completing it, and not how well it was planned at the conceptualising/ planning phase.

Here are the steps I suggest: - Know and own your project inside out - Set the final goal and deadline and make them clear to your team members - Break the ultimate goal into small achievable tasks - Delegate and assign tasks properly - Monitor the progress of each team member with their relevant tasks - Make sure all is delivered on time and no deadline is missed
