There's really nothing that I'm particularly afraid of. Like most people, I do get somewhat nervous about having to give presentations, probably because it's not something I have to do very often and I've had no formal training in giving presentations. But I'm pretty good at controlling my nerves and focusing on the task in hand and my presentations are normally very well received. I try to bear in mind that you will always feel more nervous than you actually look – and that helps me to feel a lot calmer. I also work hard to prepare very thoroughly for presentations. That really helps to boost my confidence. However still I have fear somewhere inside and as mr. Fazal Ibrahim said in his comments above that this is just a formal interview and job is already allocated since it happens most of the times they hire friends, family member and just show to management that interviews held. And a non competent person takes the seat you deserve.
That the interview is just a show case and that the recruitment has already been decided.
I searched long for a particular fear but could not find one. I usually prepare well. And if I don’t a sound dose of self-confidence often comes to my rescue! Luckily, Mr. Dawood gave an interesting answer that I like to endorse and personalize.
I would hate it if it was a waste of MY time and only part of a procedure to present some numbers to top management, since the decision was already (friend-politically) made indeed. And I have had such an unpleasant experience in the past (luckily for only a part-time student job at which I was seeking progression).
To be totally black out of forget what i have to say infront of the one who conducts the interview.. fortunately it did'nt yet happened
Quick judgement by the empoyer.
I hate two thing about interviews:
1- When the interviewer starts showing of.
2- The most annoying question is : how long are you gonna stay with us?!!!!!!!!!! are you serious? is it a job or slavery? no one knows whats ahead of him. try to be honest and you will never get the job or you can lie to them, and they know you are lying, you will get the job. quit the job they will say he lied to us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Based on personal experience
it depends upon persons perception and position plus company...Normally i don't fear about interview if i choose choose if not there is nothing to worry try next
