Sure! Genetics and epigenetics represent the base for novel medicine. Studies at these levels, would allow us know better about our genetic material and what affects it-specially the environment. Since we can't change our genetic material, but we can control our enviroment and what we eat and what we get exposed to, and thus get adapted to what best fits us, we can change and improve our lives.

Absolutely! genetic studies open the possibility of not only targeted-specialised treatments but preventative procedures as well thus reducing the healthcare burdon
