What leadership style should be used to describe a manager who “centralises authority, dictates work methods, makes unilateral decisions?

Authoritarian Leadership Sounds like Dictatorship . Reason can be Trust  or skill deficit. 

First I have to say that of course you know that a Leader and a manager are two different things and the terms can't be used interchangeably.  What you mean is management style and not leadership style. And yes like all the answers mentioned this would be autocratic. 

Authoritarian style....plans,executes and expects everyone happy at the end,laughable style.

Authoritative Manager "bossy type of manager".

Autocratic and management by walk about.

That is an authoritarian type of leadership.

SIMPLY HE IS A DICTATOR

dear sir if you are asking about leadership then its ok enough to have such kind of charcter because he has to move ahead alone and othe has to follow him, but for managers its just stupity, nothing more.   DICTATOR
