Why is it easier to work with iron than working with wood?

It is always been said: smart son send him to learn carpentry, the other send to Ironsmith profession, Iron mistake can often be redone and fixed by welding and surfacing , the wood in contrary require always a good care from selecting a adequate raw material and skilled labors work to achieve final quality and shape

Simply because while working with Iron, a welded joint can be given a smooth look in regards to finishes, however Iron (if properly treated) will not decay compared to wood. Wood will always absorb water and in humidity it tends to bend.

I prefer wood because is a natural material and is not necessary to have too much work tools.

Because the iron is ready to work, either wood requires cutting, polishing etc.

Simply because while working with Iron, a welded joint can be given a smooth look in regards to finishes, however iron compared to wood joint not easier it is talk time good worker can be given a smooth look in regards to finishes &  Wood will always absorb water and in humidity it tends to bend. .Hope all understand.
