Probably you have faced the issue of “getting a virus” on your personal computer or laptop. Back in the early days of computers and Internet in general such a situation could mean only two things. Either you have unintentionally downloaded a malicious program that would want to delete all your files or you have been tricked into a prank of some sort. Now the way it works has changed dramatically, people working tirelessly to create malware that features all the spyware, trojans and worms possible just to get your passwords, bank details, PayPall and e-mail accounts, etc.Today cyber crime has become organized more than ever and in order to fight back against it many companies hire hackers and professional virus writers.

when we actually realize that almost80% of sites, softwares, android and and other sharwares are now being designed that eat all your data and further sale or either report to NSA or government....... the shock to be caused by the question in subject dissolves and fades away.

i don't see no reason to not believe that this is true that antivirus companies will hire hackers to write virus codes and to further pentest their antivirus engine.

but see, this strategy is everywhere, at least mostly to say.

you can't do nothing, you just can not run away.

Basicaly It does not matter after all its business!

Ex.

1. Microsoft [Not specific] deliberately leaving loop holes

2. Selling to Antivirus Co.

3. Antivirus Co. hiring professional hackers to attack i.e. dev. virus

4. Antivirus Co. developing 'Utility' to remove virus

5. MS releasing bug fix / update

Yes, to write anti - virus you should have the knowledge of how virus works, where it starts what it controls and how to control or quit that virus. If you have all that knowledge you can create anti-virus for virus. SO are the anti-virus complanies doing this, first that create update virus, and then they create Anti -virus for that or to update that anti-virus for which you will pay to them. so its is a continous way of earning money, which i think will not stop until the life of computers.

In my opinion thats true because most of the viruses are created by the antivirus companies in order to increase their sales more.
