Nice question, once a product is launched, its out there in the open for customers as well as the competitors, so get information from them using various methods, or get it from agencies who'd do it for you if you pay them.
The call is yours.
But, thats the only best way to know how your product is doing in the market post launch.

nice questions and also big question :) , if you're looking to analysis the 4ps then you must have a complete research firm to help you in project like that or complete department with researchers , interviewers , mystery shoppers , analyst's ..
etc , not easy at all but to give example , most of analysis start from the primary data that you already have like sales data , customer profiles, sales channels , inventory ...
etc

Hi Mehdawi.
Nice question.
Only aspect is I am not sure if you intend to launch and market a product before you have a well drawn and strategised 4P strategy beforehand.
Even before you start making a product you should have a clear idea about the Ps.
A product concept can only be okayed when you have identified the price points, distribution(place), and the other Ps.
Of course you can always make changes at various Product life cycle stages but a clear 4P has to be in place before it goes in the market.

I think the topic is good but the question is not stated correctly. :)..

Because you need to Analyze 'What, when, where, Who' & before you start Distributing you should analyze which is your Target Audience, is it a niche product or Mass product /generic product (That's one 'P' --- Product).

Along with your type of 'Product', the 'Price Tag' attached along is also very Important factor because many people may have a 'Willingness to buy a product or avail any service but may lack ability to pay for it' (Thus it's one other 'P' --- Price).

3rd Important factor is 'Where' you going to sell it. As many markets the Product could be good & People may have the ability to pay for it but Political/Religious/Socio-Economic envirnoment may not permit to it thus (Another 'P" Place or Placement is covered).

The last is 'How' do you promote to reach your customer. If the product is new or unique you have an extra task of creating a need for the product & not just by able to make it appealing but also able to 'Associate'. It could done through lot of ATL & BTL Activities, Instore activities, sampling &/ advertising in visual or print medium's.

Thus,4 P's are crucial to 'Evaluate' & be 'Analyzed' before you actually start distributing it nor you may end up either 'Distributing in each & every Outlet/store but there would be nobody to 'Buy' it as there would be no market for it' or You would be not able to enter the 'Market' itself.

this seems to be a twister , the product could be supplied to the market after checking the4P's but however reversing the process of checking it after sales may depend on the choice of management to me it seems possible especially when new products enter into market the firms may conduct a primary data research using Quantitative and qualitative research method where all4p's are used in section , for an example if apple needs to check on iphone4p's , then it should consider product (technical problems, spares, compatible softwares, applications, battery life) with other similar competitors like samsung phones other3 ps should be examined similar way

Look, once your product's out there, you need to keep tabs on how it's doing. Talk to your customers and check your sales data to see if people actually like what you're selling. Keep an eye on your pricing - are people buying more when it's cheaper? What are your competitors charging? For distribution, figure out where your product's selling best and why. And don't forget to measure if your marketing is actually working or if you're just throwing money away. The key is to keep adjusting based on what you learn. It's not rocket science, but you'd be surprised how many people mess this up.
