it’s fine to use mouthwash, but brushing and flossing are still the mainstays in preventing cavities and gum disease.

Brushing & Flossing are the basics of Oral Hygiene maintenance. Mouthwash should not be regarded as substitute for Brushing. Better consult dentist before using the type of mouthwash.

Mouthwash can be very beneficial in addition to brushing and flossing but is not a replacement.  It is best to use an alcohol free rinse, the alcohol can lead to dry mouth, which means bacteria cannot be flushed out.

use of mouthwash is good but it nt alternative of brushing.

mouthwashes has two diverse paths if its used in the best way it can give excellent result but also can give bad result if its used in the wrong way .. the best way to use mouthwash is to rinse after u brush your teeth in about30 minutes .. rinse for one minute then expectorate and avoid eating of drinking for the next30 minutes ... u can get the benefit of antibacterail as well as flouride in mouthwash which can remeniralize superfecial layers of teeth ,, you can use mouthwash to refresh your mouth breath , strengthens your teeth  and help to heal inflamed gingiva (gum) ,,,

the harmfull effect of mouthwashes that it may cause teeth discoloration as well as it may cause calculus which act as a retentive factor for plaque accumulation which is the first cause for dental caries

you can use it for several days and discontinue it after.

no scientific reasons are there to proof the regular use of mouth washes as routine to maintain the health of the gums and teeth, although they could be prescribed for a period of time by a dentist for traeating specific gum or bacterial problem.

Using mouthwash on top of brushing your teeth and flossing is not necessary unless it is instructed by your dentist or hygienist this is because every individual has different issues with their oral cavity.. Brushing your teeth (with soft bristle) and flossing or the use of interdental brush is important for oral hygiene and keeps caries at bay.
