Is it possible to use the swimming pool water as a cooling medium to condenser water? , and recover the heat to increase temperature of swimming pool water, if there any reference , please advice
I dont think so that it is a good idea as swimming pool water contains many chemicals which is not suitable for condenser coil however the heat exchange idea can be excellent but still i dont think so that it will be recommended by any of the manufacturer.
Moreover the amount of heat exchange may be equal for both may be some need more and some need less then how to maintain the equilibrium between both
Hope this will work
I feel it is not advisable because, swimming pool water contains chlorine and other contaminated particles like bacteria, which when passed through the condenser pipes (MS pipe) cause corrosion and unhygiene.
Definitely NOT POSSIBLE. Although they are using both waters, they have different applications aside from the chemicals and inhibitors being used is also different. Hope it contributes.
This is an incredible idea. Both the sources, i.e, the condenser and the swimming pool require the exchange of energy. the swimming pool to warm the water whereas the condenser to cool the water. Water can be by-passed from the condenser to the swimming pool to heat the swimming pool and in return the swimming pool provides an open space to cool the water. Some companies have already started to use this concept for example zero energy water heating systems. the only limitation to this would be the quality of water, whether it is suitable for humans or not. The other limitation might be the availability of a swimmming pool. In big hotels, where a central air conditioning plant is employed, usually the availabilty of a swimming pool is not a concern since most hotels have a swimming to add to the luxury.
I Agree above answers, swimming pool water can't be used for condenser due to the different type of treatment required for each application, moreover possible contamination of water in condenser pipes and expected particles in swimming pool which will impact condenser pipe, however if it is feasible which is highly doubtable in Arabic countries you can use an intermediate heat exchanger
try to make search for (Tri system tank) it is not the same idea but similar
in my opinion it may can happened but it must be under supervision special company
I do not think so it is possible , The condenser water is treated by special corrosion inhibitors to prevent scales and corrosion in pipes and coils and i think it will not match the swimming pool water treatment , but if there is kind of a special device that makes heat exchanging between swimming pool water and separate cooling water condenser with controlling flow according to cooling demand and desired swimming pool temperature may be then it can be possible.
It is not advisable becasue the input temperature of the condenser will the changing all the time hence disturbing the delta T of the condenser. The quality of swimming pool water could also be jeopardized by this method.
Swimming pool water has a different chemical management than condensor water. Generally Condensor water is a partially treated Raw water which then is retreated , before passing into a condensor. Water chemicals and water chemistries of both waters are different and generally it affects the cost efficiency of running a condensor on such kind of water. Not recommended.
it will affect the delta t, as a result efficeincy reduced
Possible in one case: At the winter when you need to raise the swimming pool water temperature and even in this case can not take advantage of the cooling device because it is winter time and unfortunately on this answer.
