Now a days it is necessary that a company or business entity should have its recognition online, why ? because now most of the customers and people check you from the internet and make their mind after that. Digital marketing is a easy and effective way to approach maximum people with well target marketing so in my point of view it is not necessary that if you are not an online seller than you don’t need online presence.

YES, not only a good idea, it is must! There is a difference between Online Marketing and E-commerce. Most business owners and marketers, by now, should (re)program their minds into regarding online presence (=marketing) as a standard even if it does not facilitate online purchase. Now, a shop that offers rented2nd hand bicycles to inhabitants of a small village in Croatia, Turkey or Vietnam where internet-penetration is0% percent, will seem to have no use. But what if it happens to be a touristic area and some European or American Tourism Agency "sat behind the PC" and typed in the name of that village and they just happen to like offering cycle-tours to their customers, by CONTRACTING that small tiny shop? Is it worth it or not?

Any excersise which has to be done, there should be predefined goals for that excercise. We cannot run a car if we do not have fuel in it.

Well it depends upon the type of business you are in and the influence digital marketing can have on your product after thoroughly going through the database of the competitor's product  if it is having an impact over the similar product/service line from competitor then it is worth doing it even if you have not been selling on line till date.
