How important is the physical workplace environment to the development of a teamwork atmosphere?

Physical environment affect how employees in an organization interact, perform tasks, and are led. Physical environment as an aspect of the work environment have directly affected the human sense and subtly changed interpersonal interactions and thus productivity. This is so because the characteristics of a room or a place of meeting for a group have consequences regarding productivity and satisfaction level. The workplace environment is the most critical factor in keeping an employee satisfied in today’s business world.

I think that the physical workplace environment is essential for team work development specially in the phases of (Forming, Norming, and Storming) then when it comes to performing a physical workplace could be needed from time to time only not to miss the human interaction.
