Many parrot the ideas of others. They are the mouthpiece of other people's thoughts. They are the typical copiers and pasters, if you will. They can not or are lazy to think on their own. They have a herd mentality while mavericks are very few and far between. Yet, thinking independently taps into the mental powers of people and brings forth streams of new ideas, thoughts, and insights. Mirroring the thoughts of others represents intellectual stagnation, a standstill in thinking. Independent thinkers are the innovators, the creative, and the movers and shakers in life. How can you become an independent thinker?
According to me the education & social hirarchy system in Asia produces emploees but not independent thinkers , risk takers and entrepreneurs. We are taught from the very begining to obey rules. Family social etc.
To think independently you have to take the risk of changing the traditional mindset of people around you which is difficult and at times dangerous.
