What should one do if his/her immediate boss is doing open discrimination and not putting his merits in front of the management?
I will do my job to the best I could, obey his/her orders and let him/her feels that he/she is superior, congenial and humane. If there is any conflect on some issues I will wait and chose the right time to discuss it with him/her in a polite manner.
Have periodic reviews with the Boss, based on Objectives and Metrics, take inputs what more can be done to contribute to the Organisational Goals and how more can you support as part of his team, to the team goals and objectives, work on the inputs and include the progress in review for inputs.
