How to configure remote desktop connection?

first of all you need to connect both the systems in one network that to with stratight cable connection and then u have assign ip address to both pcs then check the connectivity by pinging it is a cmd command use to check the connectivity between two systems if its pinging then you hvae to go to RUN type MSTSC it is a command for REMOTE DESKTOP and window wlll appear u have to type the ip address of pc which u want to access remotely

Hi Cabase,

If you are asking about Microsoft Widnows environment, you may follow the steps give below.

Assume that you have windows7.

 

1) Right click on the my computer icon and select properties.

2) Select remote settings from left bar.

3) Check the button (Allow Remote assitance connection to this computer)

4)  Select button (Allow connection from computers running any version of Remote Desktop)

it is really easy first you have to set ur p address same network both destops and then go in remote destop give the ip of the pc that u want to connect  and u can do this task by connectin to pc with rj-45 connecters
