What is the use of temperature compensation?

We are using the temperature compensation to measure the desired variable precisely,

Temperature affects indirectly into diffrent variables. its simple example is if temperature changes then the ph or conductivity of that liquid is also changes. so to measure the desired variable precisely we use temperature compensation.

Thats why we can use temperature compensation in mass flow multivariable transmitter, PH metter, Conductivity metter, analyzers etc.

Temperature & pressure compensation is given in measuring any fluid flow to make it comparable reading instead merely a data. It gives the flow flow in NM3. ( normal meter cube). For example if we have to mix two fluid in certain ratio, then we must need both flow measured accurately. So we give temp& pressure correction to get right ratio and there by right mixing.i would like to quote one example to show the difference in flow reading if correction is given. Suppose1000 m3/hr air is flowing at6barA pressure30'c temp, if temp pressure correction is given it shows the flow of5300 nm3/hr.
