This can vary from person to person and can be possible if:
1) There is a 'NEED' of something that I want and you are selling;
2) I am convinced that there is a mutual benefit in doing what you are asking; and/or
3) I am such a weak personality that you can convince me to do anything.
Influencing other people and manipulating their minds to change the rules of the game being played ( sales, politics, descision-making, voting, ... etc) is both an art and a science that requires knowing the "pulse points" of the other side and bringing (new./schocking) facts that change the whole game

I would say that you "may" rather than you "can". Salespeople don't manage to sell thier product to all. They win some and lose some.

The salesman plan should be short, simple and to the goal , his efforts throughout the year "daily- weekly- monthly"in the same time you will get a hundred different responses because The last step in the sales cycle to earn sale so there are many closing techniques "basic, intermediate, advancement"closes , Before you can expect to close a sale, you must first earn the right to ask for the sale, Can we move forward with this deal? Are you selling with the right need? right message? right customer? right market? right product or service? Right value? Right relationship? Right investment? Right promises? Right answers? Right delivery? Right solving? How to Handle Objections? how hard you work to keep others on your side when you make the move? then they shake your hand, and thank you for coming, and tell you they need to earn more.
