How great is your talent and effort you have put in to achieve your goals is a "MATTER" but it is not a must. How proactive and reactive the effort you are puting in to get some positive result is a real "MATTER" and therefore, before you are offering your effort on some key goals, you have exercies twice or thrise to have an idea about the outcome. You should not go to the negative aspects, but should go through the positive aspects and those positive engergy will convert the negatives to positive if any.

Ofcouse, to know the realist result, you have to wait till it come, but you should not wait so long and you should have agreed youself on a specific time frame to achieve that goal, if you did not achieve expected result within the time frame, that means the effort you have put in is didn't work-out, and you have to see another optional actions to rectify the weak point and evaluate how strong was your effort. Then the next time while you are puting your effort in similar or another task, you won't make mistake that time. Becuase you have learned and understood from your previous mistake. "Time is nothing like anything"

Confidence will bring the best effort and talent always. Be enough self confident.

True ... but not to be used as "execuse" to justify time waste here and there.

If something takes X days/weeks/months/years to happen .. then this is what it takes.

But it should remain X and not  X plus Y  where X is the actual time required and Y unnecessary time waste

Great talent incorporates accounting for time required to accomplish your goals. Making a baby in one month reflects poor talent and/or effort.
